A fantastic pre Christmas meeting enjoyed by all present. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
Llantarnam Bakers Double
This evening Brothers Heath and Michael Baker were exalted into Llantarnam Royal Arch Chapter. The Brothers were initiated into Freemasonry together and now continue their Masonic journey as Brothers, Brethren and now companions of Llantarnam Royal Arch Chapter. The ceremony was followed by a festive season themed festive board with all the Christmas decorations and trimmings courtesy of Companion Stuart Howells.
Anyone who has been a Master Mason for four weeks can join—and should aspire to join the Royal Arch, because becoming a Companion of the Order continues their voyage of discovery.
Torfaen Mark Installation
This evening Worshipful Brother David Llewellyn installed Worshipful Brother Keith Davies as the Worshipful Master of Torfaen Mark Master Masons in an exemplary manner. The evening was well attended by Brethren from all over the Province. The evening also raised £500 for local charities caring for local vulnerable and less fortunate young people and adults.
A fantastic evening for all the Brethren present.
Kennard Christmas Lodge Night

Kennard Lecture
At Kennard Lodge’s most recent meeting, Brethren enjoyed a fantastic night with a superb lecture on Early Medieval times by their very own “Pet Viking” Brother Mike.
And it was lovely to see visiting Masters and a special guest Brother Andrew Brundsdon from a Canadian Lodge, with an exchange of Masonic gifts between Kennard Lodge and Lodge Renfrew 134 in Calgary.

Rugby Returns Update
The return of Rugby to the Pontypool Masonic Centre may not have seen the rugby result that most would have wanted but nonetheless an enjoyable evening was had by all. Brethren, their family and friends had a fantastic evening enjoying each other’s company, fine food and some rugby. Huge thanks to Worshipful Brother Gareth White, Brother Stuart Howells and their wives for organising and delivering a great afternoon.

Henllys Initiation 2
This evening Mr. David Poulsom was initiated into Freemasonry becoming the second Brother to join Henllys Lodge in this Masonic year. Worshipful Master Jonathan Davies performed an excellent ceremony ably assisted by his officers, in particular Brother Wayne Jones who perambulated Bro. David Poulsom through his initiation ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by a festive board with over 40 Brethren in attendance, including visitors from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Province, all enjoying another fantastic evening.

Llantarnam Second Degree

Our ceremony last night saw Bro. Richard Gingell passed to the second degree. Congratulations brother on your next step in Freemasonry. Excellent ceremony lead from the front by our W.M who also celebrated 40 years in masonry what an achievement. A goodly number of visitors (picture of all the visiting WM’s/elect) and even visitors all the way from Essex. Well done all involved.
