Valentines Day Celebration

In that quieter period between Christmas and New Year, brethren of Henllys met up for a quiet social drink together with some possible new members.
Another fantastic evening at the Henllys Christmas Carol Service. Fun for all the Brethren, their family and friends.
A fantastic pre Christmas meeting enjoyed by all present. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
The return of Rugby to the Pontypool Masonic Centre may not have seen the rugby result that most would have wanted but nonetheless an enjoyable evening was had by all. Brethren, their family and friends had a fantastic evening enjoying each other’s company, fine food and some rugby. Huge thanks to Worshipful Brother Gareth White, Brother Stuart Howells and their wives for organising and delivering a great afternoon.
This Saturday, 23 November, Pontypool Masonic Centre will be open for Brethren and their family and friends to watch the rugby – courtesy of W.Bro. Gareth White and Bro. Stuart Howells.
The centre will be open from 4pm with food and drink available – chilli con carne and rice and a drink just £7. Book in with Gareth or Stuart.
There’s also a mini bus available from Cwmbrân to Pontypool Masonic Centre. Contact Gareth to book your seat.
Saturday evening saw numerous Brethren from Pontypool Masonic Centre attend the Celtic Manor Resort for the Province of Monmouthshire’s Gala Dinner at the conclusion of the Charity Festival 2024. The festival raised the astonishing amount of £1,020,2400. An incredible achievement for a small province. Here are a few photographs of the evening and some of the Brethren who attended and some more from the Monmouthshire Freemasons Facebook page.

Friday evening Brethren from Henllys Lodge together with friends and family met at Pontypool Masonic Centre to enjoy a social evening accompanied by generous amounts of cheese with a little wine and Port. The evening was organised by Worshipful Brother David Llewellyn and the very generous cheese board was provided by Brother Wayne Jones. W. Bro. David also provided one of his excellent quizzes which tested the musical and general knowledge of all present. Brother John Coombs (of Henllys and Pagham Lodge) together with his wife travelled all the way from Aldwick, near Bognor Regis to join in the frivolities. The following day, the social gathering resumed with W. Bro. Dave Llewellyn and Brothers, John Coombs, Wayne Jones and Talbot Thrush meeting up again. A great way for the Brethren to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend!
