Valentines Day celebrations organised and hosted by Henllys Lodge at Pontypool Masonic Centre
Rugby at Pontypool Masonic Hall, hosted by Henllys Lodge. A real good turnout and fabulous day. We will not mention the Welsh Score.
Worshipful Master Dave James of the newly consecrated Motorcycle Lodge at Bristol. The Bristol Provincial team were in attendance to consecrate the Lodge. There were 101 guests dining at the after proceedings. Only the 38th consecration in 200years. A special day to be remembered by all. Worshipful Brother Jonathan Davies of Henllys Lodge 8283, attended as the new Chaplin of the Lodge. New members are now very welcome to join!
The Pontypool and Monmouthshire Province Brethren attended in support of Worshipful Brother Jonathan Davies of Henllys Lodge at the New Bristol Motorbike Lodge Consecration.
Congratulations Brother Stephen on your being passed to the degree of a fellow craft. Great evening and top effort by all involved. Llantarnam Lodge Worshipful Master (W.M.) pictured with visiting W.M.’s and the representative from the TLC! (The Teddy Bear)

This Christmas Teddy was a Raffle Prize at the Llantarnam Christmas Evening. Mrs. Janet Penn was the Winner and immediately gave the Teddy to Mrs. Kaeren Jones for use in raising Funds for Disabled Swimmers. Kaeren was attempting a “Firewalk” over Hot Ashes, which she successfully completed, raising much needed funds in the process! Thankfully no physical damage was reported. The Teddy refused to participate !
The Teddy raised £100.00 at the event, thus adding greatly to the final total raised !
Friday evening saw the Brethren of Llantarnam Lodge together with their family and friends enjoy a pre-Christmas festive together.
This evening Brothers Heath and Michael Baker were exalted into Llantarnam Royal Arch Chapter. The Brothers were initiated into Freemasonry together and now continue their Masonic journey as Brothers, Brethren and now companions of Llantarnam Royal Arch Chapter. The ceremony was followed by a festive season themed festive board with all the Christmas decorations and trimmings courtesy of Companion Stuart Howells.
Anyone who has been a Master Mason for four weeks can join—and should aspire to join the Royal Arch, because becoming a Companion of the Order continues their voyage of discovery.
