Gala Dinner

Saturday evening saw numerous Brethren from Pontypool Masonic Centre attend the Celtic Manor Resort for the Province of Monmouthshire’s Gala Dinner at the conclusion of the Charity Festival 2024. The festival raised the astonishing amount of £1,020,2400. An incredible achievement for a small province. Here are a few photographs of the evening and some of the Brethren who attended and some more from the Monmouthshire Freemasons Facebook page.

Henllys Cheese, Wine and Port

Henllys Cheese, Wine and Port

Friday evening Brethren from Henllys Lodge together with friends and family met at Pontypool Masonic Centre to enjoy a social evening accompanied by generous amounts of cheese with a little wine and Port. The evening was organised by Worshipful Brother David Llewellyn and the very generous cheese board was provided by Brother Wayne Jones. W. Bro. David also provided one of his excellent quizzes which tested the musical and general knowledge of all present. Brother John Coombs (of Henllys and Pagham Lodge) together with his wife travelled all the way from Aldwick, near Bognor Regis to join in the frivolities. The following day, the social gathering resumed with W. Bro. Dave Llewellyn and Brothers, John Coombs, Wayne Jones and Talbot Thrush meeting up again. A great way for the Brethren to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend!
